Qualification:
- Get a degree in any subject, preferably from a recognized university or school.
- You should hold the position of Deputy Superintendent of Police or a related job in the Police, Army, or Paramilitary forces. You must have at least three years of experience as a DSP or in a similar role. A solid and respectable record of service is required.
Job Description:
- The Security Officer will oversee the overall execution and regular evaluation of the Security Policy.
- The Security Officer will be in charge of planning and carrying out security measures at the Bank’s location, following the rules and instructions from the Government of India, the Reserve Bank of India, and the Indian Banks Association, while coordinating with the Central Security Department under the Central Security Committee’s advice as per the set schedule.
- The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring that security personnel under their supervision are well-trained, disciplined, and efficient in their roles.
- The Security Officer will maintain strong communication with the police, fire services, local officials, and other authorities from the Union Territory, State, or Central Government to gain their support and cooperation concerning the safety of the Bank’s property.
- The Security Officer will provide expert advice and suggestions to the Central Security Department to ensure the security system is robust.
- The Security Officer will handle any additional tasks assigned by the Bank from time to time regarding the operations of the Bank’s security system.
