Union Bank of India organizes an outreach camp for small businesses in Hoskote

Union Bank of India held an outreach camp for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Hoskote on Monday. The event aimed to promote entrepreneurship, government schemes, and support MSMEs for regional economic growth. Here’s a summary:

– The Mega MSME Outreach Campaign focused on promoting entrepreneurship and providing support to MSMEs.

– Various branches from Bengaluru Region participated, along with MSME customers.

– The bank offered collateral-free loans (Union MSE Support), MSME loans for women entrepreneurs (Union Nari Shakti), and loans for Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

– Other government schemes such as PMMY, PM Vishwakarma, PMJDY, Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, and retail -CASA accounts (Current and Savings Accounts) were also part of the campaign.

– The bank distributed sanction letters to beneficiaries, totaling 351 accounts with a value of ₹476.00 crore.

– The camp was inaugurated by A Manimekhalai, Managing Director & CEO of Union Bank of India.

– Guests of honour included Nitesh K Patil IAS, Director of MSME, and Dr. K Socrates, Joint Director of MSME, Government of India.
