Nashik Youth Allegedly Duped of ₹15 Lakh: Ex-Bank Chairman Parvez Kokani Named in Job Scam Case

A young man from Nashik was tricked into giving ₹15 lakh after being promised a job at the Nashik District Central Co-operative Bank.
The person who allegedly cheated him is the former chairman of the Nashik District Central Co-operative Bank, Parvez Kokani, along with a bank officer (Bhaskar Borade) and Kokani’s personal assistant (Mobeen Mirza).

They even gave him a fake appointment letter, and the bank allowed him to join work for a short time, believing the letter was real. But the young man never got any salary, and eventually he realized the job was fake. So, he filed a complaint at Mumbai Naka Police Station, and a case has now been registered against all three.

The police also suspect that this may not be the only case during the time when the old board of directors was in charge, many more people may have been cheated in a similar way. The investigation is continuing to find out if more fake appointment letters were issued.

Police now believe this could be part of a bigger fake recruitment scam. They suspect that other former chairmen and directors of the bank might also have taken money from people by falsely promising jobs. Police are now investigating everyone who may be involved.
