Educational Qualification:
- For the position of Development Assistant: A Bachelor’s Degree in any field is required, with at least 50% overall marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen) from a university or institution that is recognized.
- For the position of Development Assistant (Hindi): A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in either English or Hindi medium is required, with Hindi and English included as mandatory or elective subjects, and a minimum of 50% marks (a passing grade for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS). Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi and English as primary subjects and at least 50% marks is also acceptable.
- Individuals seeking a position in a specific State must possess proficiency in the official language of that State, which includes the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the language. The official language is defined as the primary language designated in the State’s gazette.
- Former military personnel (excluding dependents) must either hold a degree from a recognized university or have completed matriculation or an equivalent examination from the Armed Forces and served a minimum of 15 years in defense.
- The candidate should be capable of translating from English to Hindi and from Hindi to English (for DA Hindi).
- Familiarity with word processing software on a personal computer is required for both positions.

- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be granted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Government for candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EWS/PWD/Ex-Servicemen) as appropriate.
