A woman named Rita, who lives in a village in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, had gone to the ATM during Navratri to check her balance, and it showed nearly ₹10 crore in her Bank of India account. She was surprised because she is from a farming family and does not have that kind of money.
She couldn’t believe it, so she checked again at another ATM. The amount was still the same. Instead of getting excited or trying to use the money, she understood that something was wrong. She even recorded a video of the ATM screen as proof. Even after seeing such a huge amount, Rita did not try to take any money. She even told her family not to touch it until they knew what was going on and planned to inform the bank. Later, the bank manager said it was probably a technical error and that the issue would be fixed.
People on social media praised her honesty because many people might have tried to use the money, but she chose to do the right thing. Even though she had the chance to use the money, she chose to do the right thing and wait for the bank to fix the issue.
