Eligibility Criteria:
- The individual applying must hold at least an MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine from a University that is acknowledged by the Medical Council of India.
- Candidates who possess a postgraduate degree in General Medicine from a University recognized by the Medical Council of India are also eligible to apply for this position.
- The applicant must have a minimum of two (02) years of experience in the practice of the allopathic medicine system in any hospital or clinic while being registered as a Medical Practitioner.
- The candidate should maintain their own dispensary or reside within a distance of 10-15 kilometers from the dispensary of the Bank.
Salary:
- During the duration of the contract, a payment of ₹1,000/- per hour will be provided. From the total monthly payment, ₹1,000/- will be designated for transportation expenses, and an additional ₹1,000/- will be allocated for the reimbursement of mobile expenses. No additional benefits or perks will be granted to the Medical Consultant appointed on a contract basis.
- The engagement is strictly on a contractual basis. There will be no retirement benefits such as Pension, Provident Fund, or Gratuity associated with the engagement. Leave, perks, or other facilities will not be available. In the event that attendance at a dispensary is required on a public holiday, a compensation of ₹1,000/- per hour will be provided.
- Payment will be made based on the actual hours worked and will be inclusive of all considerations.
Selection Process:
- The Bank will carry out a verification of documents and interviews for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. The Bank maintains the authority to elevate the minimum eligibility standards to decrease the pool of candidates invited for interviews. The Bank’s decision on this matter is deemed conclusive. Besides those candidates who are invited for an interview, the Bank will not engage in any communication with applicants who do not meet the eligibility requirements or are not considered suitable for interviews.
- Applicants who are shortlisted following the document verification and interview process will be required to undergo a medical examination in accordance with established guidelines before they can be deemed eligible for engagement as Medical Consultants (MC) on a contractual basis. The expenses related to these medical examinations and tests will be the responsibility of the applicants themselves.
- The successful candidate will be required to enter into an agreement with the Bank prior to commencing their service as the Bank’s Medical Consultant (on a contractual basis) with a predetermined hourly payment.
