Important Dates:

Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate is required to hold at least an MBBS degree from a university that is acknowledged by the Medical Council of India within the Allopathic medicine system.
  • Individuals with a postgraduate qualification in General Medicine are also eligible to submit their applications for this position.
  • The candidate must possess a minimum of two (2) years of post–qualification experience working as a Medical Practitioner, applying the Allopathic system in any hospital or clinic.
  • Furthermore, the applicant should maintain a dispensary or residence located within a distance of 10 to 15 kilometers from the Bank’s dispensaries.

  • Qualified individuals may submit their applications strictly following the format provided in Annex-III. Applications must be delivered to the Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, Reserve Bank of India, located on the 4th Floor of the Main Office Building, Near Gandhi Bridge, Ahmedabad – 380014, no later than November 14, 2025.
  • The application should be transmitted in a sealed envelope marked as ‘Application for the post of Bank’s Medical Consultant on Contract Basis’ or via email to rdahmedabad@rbi.org.in.
  • It is important to be aware that any corrigendum related to this advertisement will be posted exclusively on the Bank’s official website www.rbi.org.in.
  • Applicants seeking reservation under Other Backward Classes (OBC) must ensure they are eligible for such benefits and must provide all necessary certificates in the specified format that support their claims, included with their application.
