Ramgarh Bank Manager’s Home Robbed, ₹40 Lakh Jewelry and Cash Gone

Massive Theft occurred at Panchvati Apartment, C Block, located near Ramgarh College. The theft took place at the residence of Manish Kumar, the branch manager of Punjab National Bank, Giddi, Jharkhand. The thieves stole gold and silver jewelry worth about ₹35 lakh and ₹40,000 in cash from the flat.

According to reports, Manish Kumar locked his flat on the evening of January 16 and left with his family for his native village, Chhotkakana. When he returned on January 18 at around 5:00 PM, he found that the lock of his apartment had been broken.

Upon entering the flat, he discovered that the thieves had targeted two rooms. They broke open two cupboards, scattered household items, and escaped with the jewelry and cash.

Manish Kumar immediately informed the apartment residents and the Ramgarh police. The police reached the spot and began an investigation. During the investigation, it was found that the CCTV camera’s DVR was not working, so no video footage was available to help identify the thieves.

The thieves had also broken the lock of Flat 305C, but since the flat was unoccupied, nothing was stolen from there.

Ramgarh police station in-charge Navin Prakash Pandey stated that the investigation is being conducted using technical methods and all possible angles are being examined. He assured that the police are making efforts to solve the case as soon as possible.

There have been repeated incidents of theft and burglary in the Ramgarh police station area. Criminals have become increasingly fearless and are now targeting apartments that were earlier considered safe. Panchwati Apartment is considered one of the safest residential complexes in Ramgarh city.
