ESAF Small Finance Bank has chosen Karthikeyan Manickam as its new chairman. Before this, he worked as a senior leader (executive director) at Bank of India.
He has a lot of experience in important banking areas like daily bank operations, managing risks, following government and RBI rules, handling staff, and making sure loans are recovered properly.
As chairman, his main role will be to guide the bank’s leadership, help make big decisions, and make sure the board works fairly and responsibly.
Manickam has also worked as a board member in other financial institutions such as Tamil Nadu Grama Bank and BOI STAR Investment Managers. He was also the chairman of Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company.
