In just a few simple steps, customers can even modify their registered mobile number online. Customers needed to visit the bank in person to seek a change to their registered mobile number before the internet banking option was available. Within 24 hours of the request form being verified, the customer’s mobile number will be registered with the bank. However, the internet tool now makes it possible to complete this process rapidly.

For people who are unfamiliar with banking, it’s crucial to register their phone number with the bank where they have an account in order to get alerts about their credit or debit transactions, get an OTP (one-time password) when they need to finish a transaction, and much more.
