HDFC Bank Services to Be Affected for Two Days – Check the Dates and Reason

HDFC Bank has announced that some customer care services will not be available for a few hours on 22nd and 23rd August 2025 due to maintenance. This maintenance is being carried out to enhance and improve the performance and reliability of UPI services. During this period, users may experience temporary unavailability or interruptions in UPI-related transactions. This means customers may face issues with things like net banking, mobile banking, or other online services.

Customer Support Services will be affected from 11:00 PM on 22nd August to 6:00 AM on 23rd August (for 7 hours). Some services which will be unavailable are:

  • WhatsApp Chat Banking

  • SMS Banking

  • Phone Banking (IVR)

  • Customer service via email and social media

However Toll-free number for emergency hotlisting of accounts/cards (for lost or stolen cards) will be available during this period. Services which will continue to work as usual are:

  • Phone Banking with a live agent

  • Net Banking

  • Mobile Banking (except UPI)

  • PayZapp (HDFC’s payment app)

  • My Cards app

HDFC Bank advised its customers to use Net Banking and complete any important transactions before the scheduled maintenance period.
