The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Department of Financial Services for extension of term of office of the following three MD & CEOs and ten Executive Directors (EDs) in Public Sector Banks (PSBs), in terms of the provisions of section 9 (3) (a) of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 and paragraph 8(1) of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscllaneous Provision) Scheme, 1970.
