- Preference will be given to retired Scale 1 officers from nationalized banks (such as SBI or RRBs) or other government/semi-government personnel (including government teachers, among others) who possess knowledge of banking and financial services and have completed applicable IIBF certification courses.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience is required as an officer or employee. The applicant must reside in the same state, ideally within the same district or one that is close by. The applicant must have retired with a clear and positive service certificate from their former employer.
