A very sad incident happened in Ayodhya on Wednesday. An SBI officer named Ram Babu Soni, aged 38, was found dead. He was working with the State Bank of India and had recently been posted in Bahraich.

According to the police, Ram Babu left his home in the morning saying he was going to buy medicine. He did not go to his bank that day. Around noon, he reached a bridge near the Saryu River on the Gorakhpur highway. Before his death, he spoke to his mother on the phone and shared his location with his wife. After that, his phone was switched off.

People nearby informed the police, and a search was started. His body was found later in the evening. He was carrying a bag that contained his mobile phone, medicines, and documents, which helped police identify him. No suicide note has been found.

Family members said that Ram Babu had been suffering from long-term headaches and was undergoing treatment. Police believe his health issues may have caused him stress. They are also checking if there were any family or personal problems, but no such evidence has been found so far.

Ram Babu was from Gonda district. He was married and had two daughters, aged 13 and 10. His family had celebrated his birthday just 15 days earlier. He had joined his new posting in Bahraich only 25 days ago, which made the incident more shocking for his family and colleagues.

The police are continuing their investigation to find out the exact reason behind this tragic incident.
