The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) officially approved the appointment of Asheesh Pandey as MD & CEO of Union Bank of India. Before this role, Asheesh Pandey was an Executive Director at Bank of Maharashtra. The appointment will be effective for an initial period of three years.
UBI has been without a chief since June 2, 2025, when the previous MD & CEO, A Manimekhalai, finished her term.
